PCIe Network Cards & Fibre Channel HBAs in Kenya
Server cards that add SFP+, SFP28 and QSFP+ ports, plus Fibre Channel HBAs for storage fabrics. Pair the card with the right optic and the whole link comes from one order.
Card first, optic second
A network card determines which modules you can run: an SFP+ card takes 10G optics, an SFP28 card takes 25G, a QSFP+ card takes 40G. Buying the card and its optics together means one compatibility check and one delivery, and we confirm the pairing from the part numbers before you buy.
Ethernet NICs and Fibre Channel HBAs are different animals
A NIC speaks Ethernet and plugs into your switching fabric. A host bus adapter (HBA) speaks Fibre Channel and plugs into a SAN. They can look identical from the bracket; the part number is what matters. QLE and LPe prefixes are Fibre Channel, X520 and ConnectX are Ethernet. If you are not sure which your server needs, send us the model and we will confirm.
