Terms and conditions
The terms on which we sell. Plain language, no traps.
Last updated: August 2026.
1. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed with Asetos Computers. Placing an order means you accept them. Nothing here limits your rights under the Kenyan Consumer Protection Act 2012.
2. Orders
An order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm your order by email. We may decline an order if the item is no longer in stock, if the price was listed in error, or if we cannot verify the delivery details. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in full.
3. Prices
Prices are in Kenyan Shillings and may change without notice, but the price confirmed on your order is the price you pay. Prices include Kenyan VAT at 16 percent. Delivery is charged separately unless your order exceeds KSh 20,000.
4. Payment
We accept M-Pesa, Visa and Mastercard, and bank transfer. Goods remain our property until payment has cleared in full.
5. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates given in good faith. We are not liable for delays caused by the courier, weather or events outside our control. Risk passes to you on delivery.
6. Compatibility
We advise on compatibility in good faith and test every module before dispatch. It remains your responsibility to confirm that a part suits your installation. Where we have confirmed compatibility in writing and the module does not work in the platform we named, we replace it or refund you in full.
7. Warranty
Every transceiver carries a 12-month warranty against failure in normal use. It does not cover physical damage, power surges, or damage from incorrect installation. See our returns and warranty page for the full detail.
8. Returns
Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 7 days. See the returns page for how to start one.
9. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the Kenyan courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
